So that's original wood floor? Why is it so light compared to the molding (moulding?) around doors and such? Was the molding refinished to be darker at some point?

As far as the colors go, I'm pretty sure the color of the molding is original. Looking at hidden spots in the kitchen, I think the floors were originally a honey or golden color - closer to what they were before we refinished. I think the natural color looks much better, though.

What's next? Well, beyond getting everything back in the kitchen, I'm thinking getting the wallpaper and wainscoting off in the dining room - I can't really stand either. I'm not sure how quickly that's going to happen, though.
