I talked with a friend on the phone while we watched it, and we couldn't believe it. He was very clear that he wanted Bush out and Kerry in, but when he gets to the real meat of his speech, about 95% of it, where he outlines what we need to do on the global scene, he was really building case for BUSH's platform. Geez, top it off with an embarassing rallying cry at the end that deflated mid-syllable, and it was easily THE worst speech from both conventions.
