2. I visited the link you have to that record contraption, and not only can I not figure out what it does to records, I wouldn't even know that its operation involves records unless you said so. I think you may be buying an electronic shoe-shine kit, but I'm not sure.

[Jan 18, 22:39]Luke [e-mail] Basically, you get a record wet with cleaning fluid, stick it on the machine, and it sucks all the gunk out.
TiVo is nice. Although I'm pissed that they've disabled channel changing via the serial cable on Motorola cable boxes. Yes, when we set it up last night it worked fine, but apparently it updated itself during the night, and this morning channel changing stopped working. Until TiVo changes their mind (they are afraid that some cable boxes won't work correctly, so they just disabled the feature for everyone), we're stuck using the damn IR pods.
I might be heartbroken if Pete actually *was* into child porn or something. But he's not, and life's too short anyway.
